Standard First Aid is designed for the general public and equips participants with essential first aid skills for common emergencies such as CPR, bleeding, and fractures. In contrast, Occupational First Aid is tailored for workplace settings, focusing on industrial-related injuries and emergency response in compliance with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements. While both courses cover life-saving techniques, Occupational First Aid includes additional workplace-specific modules and is mandatory for designated workplace first aiders.
Both the Child First Aid and Child First Aid Refresher courses are conducted in a blended learning format. The theory component for both the courses is completed online via Zoom in one day for the Child First Aid course and half a day for the Refresher course. This is followed by 1.5 days of in-person training for both the courses
All certifications are valid for two years. After that, you will need to attend a refresher course to renew your certification. We will send you reminders closer to your certificate expiry to ensure that your certificate does not lapse.

BCLS stands for Basic Cardiac Life Support – it covers both adult and infant CPR, as well as choking and the use of BVM (Bag Valve Mask) to assist ventilation. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is a part of BCLS, where it focuses on adult and hands-only CPR.
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable device used to help restart the heart during sudden cardiac arrest. It analyses heart rhythms and, if needed, delivers a controlled electric shock to restore a normal heartbeat. All our courses include hands-on AED training. You’ll learn how to operate it safely, when to use it, and what precautions to take — so you can respond confidently in real emergencies.
